a lot of thought went into these designs... i know. designing your own would be fun but why when someone else has done the 'experimenting'. After receiving this book i was excited, but not for long. Of the 398 marked paged (i.e. the ones with numbers) it seemed half the book was dedicated to woodworking, leather working, and rope techniques as well as some standard BDSM safety and practice standards you'll find on any BDSM information website. That being wordily said, This book is wonderful for someone who has NEVER picked up a hammer or screwdriver in they're life. It explains fundamentals of laying out designs, and the above mentioned techniques, however half of the plans and projects look like junk, though in the authors defense he did design the majority of the furniture to be easily portable. If I did it over with the knowledge of the books quality yes I'd get it again, for the reason of it does teach how to properly lay out plans and the majority of the leather craft projects look decent. so three stars from me though I'm not a beginner so half the book was wasted on needless information for me. Now to draw up some NICE looking bondage furniture.

The are good, but grossly over priced stands. The screws that mount the base to the stand were about half the length needed. I bought 1 inch screws (1/2 inch supplied with stands) which solved the problem. Don't waste a day like I did trying to make the screws work. Get the to a hardware store, take one of the base screws with you, and buy 7 in case you lose one. Make sure the threads are the same. This will solve the problem, and keep your blood pressure down, too.

I realize that if you're reading the reviews you're probably just wondering if the game is educational and/or entertaining. But here's a couple of things you should think about before purchasing. Like other reviewers have said, it would be nice if there were a power switch somewhere on the game. As it is, the big red button that you hit to turn the quacking & movement on/off is VERY sensitive - I can't put the box back up on the shelf without the game turning on. And forget trying to stack another game on top of this one! Again, the quacking starts up! And children can't put the game away themselves because you have to get 3 ducks in each corner with the main piece in the center just right in the too-small box! Because the game itself isn't anything spectacular, parents should definitely consider this type of thing before buying the game.

Customer Review: great educational game but very noisy and tough to re-package and store

This toy is great in reference to the educational aspects of the game. It allows a parent or older sibling to teach colors and shapes while also incorporating the social skills of sharing and being happy for someone else when they win.



That being said it is a terribly noisy game, both mechanically noisy as well as the continuous qucking that takes place while it is running. There is no shut off button or volume control and it is a tough little bugger to get re-packaged in the box once it has been taken out. I expect my kids to help put a game away when they are done using it but this one requires my efforts solely. Once you get it back in the box you have to becareful not to bump the top or set anything on the top of the box or you set off the quacking while it is in the box.



Great learning toy but can get on a parents nerves if played with for a long period of time.



Overall I gave it a three because of the re-packaging hassles and the lack of on/off button or volume control.

Okay, this is not a book of plans and layouts--there are several--but, that's not the primary purpose of a book like this. IDEAS that's what you got here.



Transposing one of these designs wholesale into your backyard would be fine IF you have the space, the matching terrain and the $s and, if the design matches and fits the style, scale and complements the features of your house. The writers admonish the reader to sit down and seriuosly think about how they use their kitchen and how they plan to use their outdoor one--that bit of advice alone is well worth the price of the book.



As to the do-it-yourself aspects of the book they are well thought out, well laid out and clearly illustrated--and they are repleat with warnings and "bail-outs"

It was a very good price for this type of item. Usually when mounting a Plasma or LCD TV on the wall it will need to tilt down some. This one tilts down about 15 degrees and up about 5 degrees. That is usually excellent for most.

Customer Review: Good mount, but......

I bought this mount for a 50" panasonic plasma. The mount was very sturdy, has enough hardware, has a nice template, but has a few other less obvious problems. It leaves minimal clearance between the TV and wall so you may have some issues trying to physically plug all the cables into your TV after you hang it on the mount. The clearance issue also doesn't allow my TV the full range of tilt. Also, the box it came in was all taped together and had obviously been opened before - and sure enough I was missing some things. Omnimount was nice enough to replace the parts, but it delayed my installation by a week.

This mobile isn't the loveliest to the adult eye, but my newborn adores it. When nothing else works to entertain her, she will watch and listen to this. In fact, some of her first gurgling and cooing was to this mobile. And it gives her parents a 15-minute break to shower, answer email, or eat! We love it.

We bought this mobile for my daughter when she was 3 weeks old...it took a week or so for her to get used to it, but now it is one of her FAVORITE toys. We do not use this to settle her down for naptime, but rather start the mobile first thing in the AM (as a matter of fact, we'll walk into the nursery in the morning and she'll be sitting in her crib waving her arms and waiting for the mobile to start) OR during the afternoon when she has some extra energy. This mobile can entertain her for 30-45 minutes. She loves to kick the animals as they rotate on the mobile - great for hand-foot coordination development! Highly recommended!
